A thing with many names.
This one’s a Hillman Avenger, noted for the distinctive hockey stick tail lights. Later it became a Chrysler Avenger, losing the hockey sticks along the way
, then a T
albot Avenger. It also manifested itself as a Sunbeam Avenger, a Dodge Avenger, a Dodge 1800, a Dodge P
olara, a Plymouth Cricket and a VW 1500.

You think if they had brought that brand to the US they’d have changed it to Hillbilly?

Better looking than the U.S. Dodge Avenger. No other car has ever so blatantly said “I have no aspirations beyond fleet sales” so loudly and clearly.

Well, they did sell the Avenger in the US as the Plymouth Cricket...but who knows?
